This one was shown at a whole slew of film festivals, and apparently, it didn’t do any too badly.  So let’s take a look at a little movie called “Zombie Gets A Date”.

In this animated short, a zombie manages to land himself a date for the evening, but how will this enchanted evening go when the lady in question finds out her beau for the night is a rotting pile of brain-craving flesh?

Well, about like you’d figure it would.  I mean, seriously–what did you expect?  They’d hit it off and go back to her place for an evening of sex and eating the dog?  Sure, it’s a bit predictable, but it’ll still have an interesting ending.  And frankly, I laughed.  That’s important to me.  If a movie makes me laugh, I believe it has succeeded on some level.  And short films are no exception.

Thus, the Screenhead Ten Scale hands this one a seven out of ten for being a funny, if a bit predictable.  But only just a bit.
