A Bourne prequel?

MV5BMTQ5NjM1MDg0Nl5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwNDIwNzY2._V1._SY140_Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass have opted out of making another Bourne movie, which isn’t any surprise.

After all, I believe that the original Bourne book series has just three. They were written by Robert Ludlum and then others took over, so there are more books that could be turned to films, and more Bourne books to be written just waiting to be turned into films.

In short, there is room for sequels if the studio really wanted to, and considering the success of the franchise, why not? Unfortunately, there is a rumor that the studio is planning a reboot.

Oh no! Aren’t they going to do that for Spider-man? What is the point of making movies if you just keep making sequels to the exceptional ones, and then redo the series again? Do we just keep doing it until we get it right?

Yeah, I’m sick of this franchise reincarnation. This is one time where it is not good to be Bourne Again.
