‘Avatar’ Soars at the Box Office
Avatar wins again. My guess is that it will win this weekend, too. People are seeing this movie more than once. Some are even seeing it five times.
Edge of Darkness came in second with When in Rome in third. It looks like Sherlock Holmes in eighth place will hit the 200 thousand mark this weekend. It’s Complicated in ninth place broke the century mark this week.
John Travolta’s From Paris with Love is opening today. I guess, it will be either in second or third place. Dear John with Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried opens this weekend, too.

Pandora must have some oxygen to make the fire last longer. It’s not surprising that Pandora is unbreathable for humans when fire can be snuffed out by windless toxic air. The burning trees must have some oxygen in them to keep the fire alive temporarily anyway. Toxic air must contain so much carbon dioixde, there wouldn’t be any need for a fire service with vehicles in the air and on the ground to use river-water to put out the fire. Fire is necessary for cooking and keeping warm in winter. Surviving without some kind of energy invention can be insane. I think it would be better to have our modern inventions like the oven, toaster and heater: to have toast for breakfast or to keep warm inside the house during rainy or winter cold conditions. The Navi, if owning the human camp steel and concrete structure with all the luxuries of a restaurant and hotel accommodation, would enjoy the human advances of fire.
