Bruce Willis’ Sequel Life–Unbreakable 2, Die Hard 5, What’s Next?
A quick digest for you today, folks, of Bruce Willis related stories that will probably leave you scratching your head, much as I was.
First, the wreck of M. Night Shyamalan’s career continues to careen wildly out of control as it looks to pick up Bruce Willis’ own flagging career for Unbreakable 2, which, supposedly, will tell the “middle story” about David Dunn and Mr. Glass taking each other on. Admittedly, it’s not too big a stretch to think that superpowered Dunn probably would’ve snapped Glass like his namesake, but surely there’s something else going on there.
Second, you heard about it here– apparently Bruce wants to come back and do a FIFTH Die Hard. But what you DIDN’T hear here is that it will “make fun” of the series and go on a worldwide jaunt just to up the ante, so those of you who enjoyed the highly compressed, compacted style of the original will be wholly out of luck.
If Willis comes back to do Pulp Fiction 2, I think it’ll be pretty safe to say that film is, officially, dead.
