Super Bowl weekend means women go to the movies while the men watch football?  It looks like that is true. Dear John won over Avatar this weekend.  I doubt James Cameron is crying over second place, especially since he received accolades at the Santa Barbara Film Festival last night.

An interesting observation, Crazy Heart is only in 819 theaters and made it to the top ten this weekend with $3,600,000 in eighth place.
