You’ve seen it in many a horror film. A character is looking at the mirror, just to check on their face, or something, and then…no!!! There is a reflection that shouldn’t be there. You pretty much know how the rest of the scene plays out.

Popwatch has assembled a supercut of as many Mirror Scares as they could get. Clearly, I’m not a fan of horror movies to know all the movies that these are from, but it’s enough to make me never want to see the Mirror Scare in any movie that I will ever see again.

So, next time you’re watching a movie where someone is looking at a mirror, don’t be too surprised at what happens next.
