Harold and the Purple Crayon to be a movie?
February 26th, 2010 in Animation, Book-to-Movie -
Considering the success of Where the Wild Things Are and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, I’m sure that there are all sorts of kid’s books just not begging to be made to films.
For example, Harold and the Purple Crayon. In fact, Maurice Sendak, the creator of Where the Wild Things Are, plans on producing this movie. Sendak was a protege of Crockett Johnson, the creator of Harold.
Yeah, it’s going to be darn hard to make this one, and I’ve heard that it will be animated, possibly CG. Who knows how this one will turn out.
