For those of you who are wondering about Sam Raimi’s latest directing project, then I will add to the rumors.

Since that whole Spider-man 4 deal fell through, there is a possibility that he is looking at another superhero: The Shadow.

The rumor comes from a quote back in 2007, the same year that Spider-man 3 was a hit and a trainwreck in the theaters.

I love the character very much and we’re trying to work on a story that’ll do justice to the character.

Considering the disappointing adaptation in 1994 staring Alec Baldwin, the Shadow could use a reboot. We’ve already reported that Raimi is slated to produce a Shadow film, but will he take the helm?

Only the Shadow knows.
