My momma always told me that someday my sinful ways were going to catch up with me, folks, and apparently, today is that day.

There are rumors stirring around about a remake of the movie that launched a thousand godawful direct to video sequels: American Pie.

And Seann William Scott is apparently more than ready to come back as Stifler.  Yes, he has EMBRACED his typecasting and is fully prepared to coast for the rest of his career.  Dig the word:

“I’ve been talking to them about it and there’s a possibility. We came up with an awesome idea and I’m kind of at the point where I’m already known as that character forever anyways. As much as I want to do a part like Christoph Waltz in ‘Inglourious Basterds,’ I did ‘American Pie’ three times and then versions of that in ten other movies. If it makes sense and if it makes people laugh then maybe.”

Way to go, Seann!  EMBRACE that mediocrity!

Seriously though…does anyone really want to see American Pie get a remake?  Weren’t the first dozen bad enough?
