No, it seems like he going into other franchises. The man who, as a boy, was Sharkboy is on board to play Max Steel, a CG hero an animated from last decade. He is also planning on being another superhero, the legendary Stretch Armstrong.
Man, if I was a kid I would think that this Taylor Lautner had the neatest resume.
