As we have reported before, Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell are going to be in The Other Guys in August 2010, a film about two detectives who dream of being top cops, and seize the opportunity. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned.

Yeah, you’ve probably seen this plot before. In fact, I saw this plot before on a Stargate SG-1 episode that was entitled, curiously enough, “The Other Guys”. And it was about two guys in the Stargate program who seize the opportunity to help the SG-1 team on a mission. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned.

Once again, we have more proof that Hollywood is just about out of ideas.
