valentinesdayposterI don’t have a list of numbers to show you the results for Friday’s box office as I usually do, but I can tell you that love is in the air. Garry Marshall’s romanced the audiences with Valentine’s Day. The ensemble comedy, romance movie brought in a heart-felt $14.6 million to spark the Presidents Day Weekend.

Next, movie is a little scarier. The Wolfman brought in $9.8 million while Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief nabbed third place with $9.7 million.

You may be wondering where Avatar is in all this. Well, the science fiction box office Hercules totaled $4.5 million and it beat out its competitor Dear John at $4.1 million.
