Still no word on who is going to play Captain America yet, but I don’t think anyone will complain at director Joe Johnston’s choice of arch-enemy: Hugo Weaving.

Hugo Weaving, who is most famous for his roles in The Matrix and Lord of the Rings trilogies, is presently signed on to play the Red Skull, who is no doubt Captain America’s greatest enemy. The Red Skull was apparently Hitler’s right-hand man and I’m not really certain what his backstory is behind the evil red mask. I’m sure that the movie will give a better explanation than that terrible Captain America movie that is on Hulu for free.

I’m sure Weaving is planning on giving his best “Agent Smith” voice for the Big Red Skull, and is probably the actor to call for your “evil voice”. He was the bad guy in Babe after all.
