Kathy Bigelow made history tonight, first woman to win an Oscar for best director for The Hurt Locker. 

The film, shot in Jordan. took home the other top honor — best picture – tonight in celebration of the Oscars.

I had a great time watching the Oscars with my family, tweeting away on each moment that I thought was special to me.

The bedroom scene with Alec and Steve is, by far, the funnest moment of the Oscars.  I love slapstick.  The dancing to the best soundtrack is my second favorite moment. The memorial of those we lost this last year is always endearing, R.I.P.

And, I am so happy that Sandra Bullock won best actress for The Blind Side, well deserved.
