Hey Bond fans and moviegoers in general, if you’re interested in the latest rumors about the next movie in the 007 franchise, then listen up!  Currently, there is speculation that Rachel Weisz could be chosen to play the next villain to face off with the legendary superspy.  Apparently, Cinema Blend is behind this new rumor and they report that MGM intends for Weisz to portray the role of the leader of the mysterious and sinister syndicate, Quantum, the shadow group mentioned in the last Bond film, Quantum Of Solace.

According to Cinema Blend, Weisz is a very likely choice for agent 007′s next opponent due to her known friendship with Daniel Craig, the current James Bond himself.  Since this is only a rumor at the present time, nothing can be confirmed yet.  The only thing we know for certain is the fact that movie twenty-three for the James Bond series is definitely in the works as an upcoming film.

The script for the new film is currently being written by Peter Morgan.  However, there is doubt as to whether or not the completion of the movie is attainable since MGM is currently struggling financially.  The movie studio may be counting on a well-established leading lady like Weisz to improve their business and their income in the long run.  In the meantime, dear reader, decide for yourself.  Should Rachel Weisz be chosen as Bond’s new adversary?
