Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds for a Change Up
Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman are going to be the dynamic duo for new comedy called Change Up.
The screenplay is by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the writers for The Hangover, Ghost of Girlfriends Past, and Four Christmases. It will be directed by David Dobkin, who gave us The Wedding Crashers and Shanghai Knights.
In Change Up, Reynolds is a slacker, who finds himself in the body of his best friend, Bateman, who is a responsible family man. I suppose what we are looking at is a version of Freaky Friday with body-switching men instead of women, but I’m sure they’ll take it from there.
