Robert Rodriguez to do Spy Kids 4

At SXSW, Robert Rodriguez admitted that he had “just handed in” the screenplay to Spy Kids 4. Apparently, this sequel takes place ten years after the last Spy Kids movie, which was released in 2003. The Weinstein Company is looking at it now, but I’m sure they will green-light it.
This new Spy Kids movie will have a completely new set of kids. This makes a lot of sense, considering Carmen and Juni Cortez have grown up. I can easily see a cameo of them, perhaps training the two new Spy Kids. However, that’s really obvious, isn’t it?
In the meantime, Rodriguez has his hands full with Predators.
