A while ago, we reported on that Spider-man director Sam Raimi is possibly planning on a Shadow redeux, and it would appear that he is committed to produce a script written by Siavash Farahanl.

It doesn’t look like Raimi will direct this new version of The Shadow himself, but will probably allow 30 Days of Night director David Slade to take the helm.

Something tells me the remake of The Shadow will be R-rated, with a hero who will have no problem killing the bad guys. In other words, more Rorschach than Batman. I’m guessing it will take a film noir look like Sin City, as it is based on a 1930′s character.

Again, only the Shadow knows.
