Based on the true story of Ian Fleming’s World War 2 unit, this new film will be directed by Adrian Vitoria. Vitoria co-wrote the script with Ed Scates and plans to begin production of the movie in Norway this April.

Sean Bean has recently been signed on to the film’s cast, which also includes Danny Dyer and Rosie Fellner.  As a war movie, The Age Of Heroes stands out among other films of this genre because it follows the real-life exploits of the 30 Commando Unit, in which Ian Fleming himself was an active member.  Of course, Fleming is well-known as the author who wrote most of the novels that inspired the James Bond film series.

If The Age Of Heroes does well enough upon its theatrical release, it will be the first installment of three movies.  The other two films possibly to come in the future have been named Age of Honor and Age of Glory.  However, first things first.  The Age Of Heroes will have to prove that it deserves to be a trilogy.
