Megan and Shia “Bite The Hand…”

“…Bite the hand that feeds…”

Discussing film within the film industry has its protocols. LA Times blogger Patrick Goldstein puts a nice twist to the recent comments from Shia Labeouf concerning Indiana Jones 4. He relates it to the Megan Fox scenario, who was “let go” by the makers of the Transformers franchise.

Both these actors spoke candidly about their directors–Fox about Michael Bay and Labeouf about Steven Spielberg.  Although it’s an interesting bit of information to have actors speak candidly about directors, studios or movie set problems, I don’t think it really matters to the general public.

Besides, it’s juvenile. Fox and Labeouf should learn from their predecessors.

I have been on movie sets when situations weren’t the best. I would only share that with my husband or confidant.  I wouldn’t share it with the general public. What good does it do? It’s unprofessional.

I don’t want to dwell on this subject too much, but I find Goldstein’s take on the situation interesting. If you work in the industry, it’s worth the read.  If you don’t work in the industry, it’s good to know and consider it trivial.
