Eat, Pray, Love looks like a great movie – especially with Julia Roberts.   The movie is based on a true story about a woman who decides clinging to the status quo is not the ideal scene. She journeys to discover her true self. 

When the book of the same name came out, I saw so many women reading it at health clubs and at my daughter’s ballet classes. It made me wonder what does eat, pray and love have to do with Mothers reading the book as they waited for their daughter to finish ballet class. 

I wonder, how many women feel they need to just take off and discover themselves or at least think about getting away from it all.  How many women would like to have an affair with a younger man — James Franco, travel to Italy and have another affair with Javier Bradem?

Maybe, that is what I need to do, and then write a book about it, become rich with Julia Roberts playing me on the silver screen.

The movie opens August 13, 2010.
