Ralph Fiennes’ Shakespeare Film Coriolanus Photos
I am not quite sure what Ralph Fiennes is doing with William Shakespeare’s Coriolanus. The original story centers on Roman military leader Caius Martius. He returns home as a war hero who fought against the Voluscans. He takes on the last name, Coriolanus, given for the city he conquered.
However, he is banished from Rome as a traitor. Coriolanus then allies with a sworn enemy to take his revenge on the city of Rome.
Apparently, Fiennes has modified the story to fit during the Iraq war or something similar to a modern war.
In this picture we have Gerard Butler working with Fiennes, who is directing. First Showing posted more photos and details about the movie.
