Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark in HD

The trailer reminds me when I was a little girl, I would take the flashlight with me to bed.  I often looked through the sheets because I was afraid of the dark and thought I heard or felt something below my feet, yikes!

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark domestic release date for Guillermo del Toro’s film is January 21, 2011. Dark is directed by Troy Nixey with Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, Bailee Madison and Jack Thompson starring in the horror movie. Del Toro and Matthew Robbins wrote the adaptation of a 1973 ABC movie written by Nigel McKeand.

The fantasy-thriller focuses on a young girl, portrayed by Madison, who’s sent to live with her father (Pearce) and his girlfriend (Holmes) in the old mansion they are renovating, where she unwittingly unleashes malevolent creatures bent on destroying all of them.
