Drive In Showing The Last Exorcism Bursts Into Flame

September 7th, 2010 in Horror, Movie News, Movies -

Man, talk about your huge piles of irony–and if you’ve seen The Last  Exorcism it just gives you a cold chill.  A drive in theater showing The Last Exorcism actually burst into flame, and you’re actually getting a look at it mid-conflagration in the picture to the right.

Considering the last fifteen minutes of The Last Exorcism, it’s definitely enough to make you wonder about foul play on a paranormal scale, but since the theater caught fire when there wasn’t a performance showing, it does sort of shift the focus of things off the paranormal.

The Admiral Twin, the theater in question, had been a landmark in Tulsa, Oklahoma, since the fifties, which is enough of a guess right there–after all, a place with regularly used sixty year old wiring isn’t exactly the safest place around, especially when you consider how much of that wiring is exposed to the elements. And of course, no one’s ruling out the work of kids or a random nutjob.
