Solitary Man is an interesting perceptive and candid portrait of a man whose winning ability to draw people in might also cause him to lose everything and everyone he cares about.  The movie arrives to Blu-ray and DVD on September 7, 2010.  

The movie stars Academy Award winner Michael Douglas as Ben Kalmen. Ben had a thriving career, a beautiful family, and a luxury apartment in the heart of Manhattan, but the same irresistible charm that got him to the top is also the cause of his downfall. 

He desperately attempts to regain his status the only way he knows how: through a woman.  But when his wandering eye turns to the wrong woman, he looks to his family, and long time friend (Danny DeVito), to help get him back on his feet again – only this time he’s got nothing to lose.

Solitary Man stars some of my favorite actors which include Douglas, Susan Sarandon and Danny DeVito. Douglas received praise for his work: “triumphant performance” Peter Travers, Rolling Stone.  He leads the all-star cast with sheer presence.
