At 7-feet-tall and 460 pounds, Wight, who is also known as “The Big Show,” is called the World’s Largest Athlete. 

Known to millions of fans throughout the world as “The Big Show,” Wight is one of World Wrestling Entertainment’s most popular stars and the only individual to ever hold all the championships – the WWE, WCW and ECW. 

Wight has been in the WWE since 1999 and is increasingly acting in television and films, including a recent scene-stealing cameo in McGruber.  Wight and actor Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) were teamed on the comedy road adventure, Knucklehead last fall and they it hit off so well, Feuerstein went back to USA Network’s Bonnie Hammer and asked that they write an episode of Royal Pains especially for Wight and they did.  That top-rated episode aired in June 2010.  Their film, Knucklehead, will be released domestically on October 22, 2010. 

Knucklehead sounds like a cute, funny movie that the whole family can sit down and watch. The movie follows a con artist named Eddie Sullivan (Mark Feuerstein).  After incurring a large debt with a local criminal ringleader (Dennis Farina), Eddie creates a get-rich-quick scheme and enlists a sweet gentle giant named Walter (“The Big Show”) as his unwitting accomplice. 

Wight tells stories about growing up huge:  Being 6’7 and 290 pounds at age 13; nearly being arrested for kissing his high school sweetheart (police thought he was an adult); getting stuck in airplane toilets and seats; and, years of run-ins with ceiling fans, doorways and tough guys.  He came to sports-entertainment after Danny Bonaduce introduced him to Hulk Hogan, making his debut as the illegitimate son of Andre the Giant.  After more than a decade, Wight has become one of World Wrestling Entertainment’s most beloved and respected stars.
