We all knew Zombieland 2 was coming.  Some of us even figured there’d be a Zombieland sequel before Zombieland even hit theaters.  So it’s almost a surprise to hear details have emerged for Zombieland 2.

Almost.

No more preamble!  On to the deets!

Anyway, here’s the big winner: the script exists.  It is written. Like in the hat written. Sure, it’s just an early draft, but this is where it begins, folks. The script is completed and just requires modification to be ready to shoot, which means they could get started shooting at most any point.

Well, most any point after Ruben Fleischer and Jesse Eisenberg get finished shooting 30 Minutes or Less up in Grand Rapids, anyway.

So we have some good news here, and hopefully we’ll have a lot of set news coming out of this in rapid fashion, with a sequel to hit theaters really, really soon. We’re all dying for that one, I know.
