You can’t take this movie too seriously because the trailer is so silly and ridiculous already.  Just the fact that Mr. Cage’s character broke out of Hell is pretty funny. 

He plays a hardened felon who has broken out of Hell for one last chance at redemption. He’s going after some bad people, who appear more evil than him, which is odd since he’s from Hell.  Perhaps, that is the joke. 

With all the cars blown up and people being shot up or busted up, it should be a fun movie without serious undertones.
