A group of teenagers look to save their town to stop an invasion from China by taking refuge in the woods and going on the offensive. They even call themselves the Wolverines. Chris Hemsworth and Josh Peck play brothers (Jed and Matt Eckert, originally played by Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen.

Last summer, the theatrical release of the film was delayed due to MGM’s financial difficulties.  With the Chapter 11 restructuring going in the right direction, MGM set its sights on the remake.

Featured in the picture above is the core Red Dawn cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki, Isabel Lucas, Edwin Hodge and Alyssa Diaz. Somewhere in that bunch is Tom Cruise’s son, Connor. My guess is front left.
