I really dig listening to movie soundtracks while I write about movies. It keeps my spirit of play in while keeping pace with the details of the current movies. Last week, I posted the news about Empire Magazine offering a free listen to the whole soundtrack of Black Swan. I listened to that over and over again, a beautiful piece with cues from the original Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

Now, the magazine is offering the soundtrack to The King’s Speech, which I am listening to right now and digging it. I embedded one piece from the soundtrack, but I recommend you listen to it all by going to Empire Magazine.
