I am not very impressed with the teaser trailer.  Sure, the teaser trailer is a cool way to look at the remake, but I want to see more. An action scene would suffice.  Frankly, I liked the motion poster, which I posted last week, better than this teaser trailer because, at least, I had a good look at Momoa as Conan.  Here, I don’t see much of anyone, all smoke.  I will be happier when I see more.  Don’t get me wrong, the trailer is unique and looks awesome, almost magical.

However, it appears, from the dialogue, that Conan the Barbarian will be just that in the 3D motion picture – a barbarian.

Conan the Barbarian 3D is based on Robert E. Howard’s classic character. The movie is being promoted as a remake from the two earlier films. Directed by the Marcus Nispel the movie also includes Ron Perlman and Stephen Lang.

I am sure we will see a longer and more in depth trailer soon. The movie opens in theaters August 2011.
