Donnie Yen in Legend of the Fist Trailer is Electrifying
My day was jam-packed with random stuff that had to be done now. So, this trailer juiced me up and now I can write a couple of posts about movies before I call it a day.
With that said, Donnie Yen’s Legend of the Fist is full of electrifying action. This trailer is unbelievable, and if the movie is anything like the trailer, I am in the movie theaters now. In the first part of the trailer, Yen does some incredible stunts against the enemy at war.
You have to appreciate the talent of director Andrew Lau with a cast also includes Shu Qi, Anthony Wong and Huang Bo. The story is about the nation of China. A poor country that is divided by infighting and Japan has become the most powerful force in Asia.
With the city of Shanghai torn in half by international conflict, Club Casablanca has become a hotbed of spies, mobsters, English officials and the Japanese military- all looking to gain control of the country, with little regard for what happens to its citizenry.
Bringing dark secrets from the past with him, Chen Zhen (Donnie Yen) returns to China after fighting alongside the Allied forces in Europe. During the day, he’s known as “Qi”, and appears to be just another wealthy playboy. But at night, he takes to the street as a masked warrior, determined to subvert the Japanese invasion.
