Directed by Kevin Munroe, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night has long been dormant, and is finally getting a US release date of April 29, 2011.

Now, we have a new trailer to go with the announcement of the release date. The trailer offers lots of zombie humor, action-packed footage and Brandon Routh bare-chested, yummy.

Dylan Dog is a private investigator of paranormal phenomena, going against an array of zombies, werewolves, vampires and some kind of super monster. The trailer doesn’t explain what that thing is very well.
Also starring in the movie is Anita Briem, Peter Stormare, Taye Diggs and Kurt Angle.

The movie is derives from the Italian comic book series “Dylan Dog” by Tiziano Sclavi. The series first took off in 1986 and it prevails to this today, though I heard that Sclavi isn’t as involved anymore. The book continues to be quite popular around the world.
