Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in Disney Digital 3D is the fourth installment of Jerry Bruckheimer’s franchise. The movie looks like the other three Pirates of the Caribbean movies, but I keep thinking about co-stars Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane. There might be something new and worthwhile to see. I have uploaded this banner of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow to my desktop. I am in seventh heaven because Johnny greets me every morning with those big open arms.

Directed by Rob Marshall and screenplay by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio from the novel by Tim Powers, the movie, hopefully, captures the fun, adventure and humor that ignited the hit franchise—this time in Disney Digital 3D.

I might not have covered the whole international cast that includes franchise vets Geoffrey Rush as the vengeful Captain Hector Barbossa and Kevin R. McNally as Captain Jack’s longtime comrade Joshamee Gibbs, plus Sam Claflin as a stalwart missionary and Astrid Berges-Frisbey as a mysterious mermaid. So, Argh!
