This is the third trailer I have seen of Water for Elephants, and this is first one without Hal Holbrook, who plays the much older version of Jacob. The movie is being billed as a romantic movie, but I think it is more than that.

Directed by Francis Lawrence (Constantine, I Am Legend), who is breaking away from the horror genre, the story follows twenty-three old Jacob, who jumps on a circus train after the tragic death of his parents. He joins the circus and becomes the veterinarian. He soon learns life with this circus is the lowest form of existence because of a brutal ring leader named Uncle Al. But, Jacob finds love, Uncle Al’s wife, and helps the abused animals and circus people.

The movie also stars Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Christoph Waltz. I am looking forward to seeing this movie when it opens April 22, 2011, Earth Day.
