Giveaway: Two DVDs of The Company Men
On behalf of Anchor Bay Entertainment and The Weinstein Company, I am pleased to present The Company Men giveaway!
I have two DVDs to giveaway.
An uplifting and perceptive motion picture about corporate downsizing, The Company Men stars Academy Award winners Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones.
TIME Magazine’s Richard Corliss calls The Company Men “rich and thoughtful.” Says The New York Observer’s Rex Reed, “The Company Men is a timely, intelligently written, beautifully acted film of great sensitivity and wisdom about corporate downsizing that will make you think. An absolute triumph.” Writes Entertainment Weekly’s Owen Gleiberman, “Grade A. Juicy, timely and terrifically engrossing. John Wells is a sensational writer and a real storyteller.
The DVD hits the streets June 7, 2011. You can enter to try and win a copy of The Company Men. I saw the movie last week on DVD. I was quite impressed with the acting and storytelling. Ben Affleck carried the movie with Tommy Lee Jones even though they were not in a lot of scenes together. Their emotional pain of losing a job came through in a very deep way. Kevin Costner was excellent as was Chris Cooper. Maria Bello held her own with Tommy Lee Jones. You want to see this movie.
To enter the giveaway, post your name and we will pick the winner June 17, 2011.

Sounds timely and worth viewing.

My husband and I both want to see this great movie.
My name is bob and I’d love a personal copy. This movie drove me crazy in the theater because I couldn’t figure out the wife. Later I realized she was Rachel in that Anne Hathaway movie. She’s a great actress.

As a lifelong Democrat, I have to draw the line at turning over my healthcare to the government. I have seen what they (both parties) have done to Medicare and Social Security. I do not want the same for health insurance and health care. I have no confidence in this issue with either party, but passing a healthcare bill on the backs of the elderly really takes the cake. It doesnt take a genius to figure out that if there is a so called public option, it will not be long before that is the only option. Barney Frank said as much. Virginia says I can keep my health insurance. My question to her is, How do I keep an option after the company is no longer in business? Like I said, it doesnt take a genius. I guess Ill have to execise my option to become an independent, because it is clear my Democratic Senators and Representative do not plan to represent me in congress.
