What do you get when you pair a couple of popular comedians on the big screen? Well considering you bring together Woody Allen and Larry David, expect a lot of laughs for their coming film “Whatever Works”. By the look of the poster and trailer for Allen’s newest romantic comedy entitled Whatever Works, it looks like this movie is perfect for the Allen and David tandem.

Whatever Works sees the veteran writer/director Woody Allen return to his traditional New York setting after being off making movies in such places as the UK (with the dreadfully overrated Match Point) and Spain (with the delightful Vicky Cristina Barcelona). The film tells the story of:

Eccentric, upper class New Yorker Boris Yellnikoff (Larry David) who abandons his comfortable lifestyle in favor of leading a more bohemian existence. After meeting a young Southern girl and her family, he discovers that life among the nonconformists isn’t quite as carefree as he’d envisioned it to be.

Whatever Works is scheduled to be released on June 19th this year in the US. No UK release date has been set as of yet.

In celebration of its 100th episode, Amsale Design Group dips its hand into the “Perfect Wedding”, providing another great wedding dress design to complement said episode.

The 100th episode of Grey’s Anatomy last night ended with what Izzie Stevens deemed “The Perfect Wedding”. In an emotional turn of events, Izzie walked down the aisle in a sparkling Kenneth Pool ball gown to marry Alex under a canopy of deep purple flowers. Accompanying Izzie and Alex at the altar were Christina and Meredith, dressed in soft lilac chiffon bridesmaids gowns by Amsale.

The memorable episode, titled “What a Difference a Day Makes” marks the third time the Amsale Design Group has partnered with Grey’s to outfit some of the shows most memorable moments. Who can forget Izzie’s dusty rose prom dress or Christina’s sophisticated lace mermaid gown?

Amsale’s elegant designs have made one of the most sought after couture wedding gown designers in the United States, and won her the reputation as the creator of the modern wedding dress. She is the creative director of the Amsale, Kenneth Pool and Christos bridal collections as well as the Amsale Bridesmaids collection and the most recent addition to the Amsale Design Group collection of labels, Amsale Presents The Little White Dress. Though most recognized for her exquisite bridal wear, Amsale has also gained a strong celebrity following for her evening wear, as seen on screen, editorially and on the red carpet on stars such as Jennifer Garner, Uma Thurman, Hallie Berry, Kate Hudson, Kim Basinger, Salma Hayek, Julianna Marguiles, Diane Lane and Vanessa Williams.

How much is the meaning of life? Technically it can cost anything. And perhaps for this stop motion animated feature, it all costs $9.99. This is the ad that alters the life of the unemployed 28 year old who still lives at home, Dave Peck. In his struggle to share his find with the world, Dave¡¦s surreal path crosses with those of his unusual neighbours: an old man and his disgruntled guardian angel, a magician in debt, a bewitching woman who likes her men extra smooth, a broken hearted man who befriends a group of hard partying two inch tall students, and a little boy who sets his piggy bank free. Their stories are woven together, examining the post-modern meaning of hope.

Illegal aliens and people who have had problems with their real intent in the United States is something we all commonly hear and here is one movie that can cater to all nationalities and different situations. Some turn to legal means while others will do anything to legalize their stay in the land of opportunity such as fraudulent measures or assume identities.

Crossing Over also brings a word of caution on how immigrants should be careful on what they wish for. Freedom of speech is common but when it comes to descending on certain cases such as the ones related to the 9/11 event, expect some rough and tumble turn of events.

The movie has a star-studded cast, led by icon Harrison Ford. It also stars Ashley Judd and Ray Liotta as well as some budding superstars we see today. The movie is not that exciting to watch and may even be a bit draggy. But follow it closely since you may miss some plots along the way.
