Gary Costango and Dan Malenki are our winners for the giveaway to help promote an awesome new site called SundanceNOW. Gary and Dan are our lucky winners of a code that is good for one free movie on SundanceNOW.

Gary says, “I always watch Sundance on cable TV. It’s great.  Dan agrees, “[I'm] always willing to watch an indie flick.”

SundanceNOW offers you the choice to rent or own the best of independent cinema with the click of a mouse. The SundanceNOW library encompasses classic titles and the newest releases from around the globe.

I think this is an awesome opportunity for you to experience a new way to view independent and classic movies online.

The idea for SundanceNOW came from the lack of a single online destination where real independent film fans could find, watch instantly and discuss a broad range of independent, hard to find films from around the globe. We believe that SundanceNow fills that void by bringing hundreds of films to your computer screen. You can watch them immediately (and legally) and find several films from the same director or of the same genre quickly and easily. In addition, new films are constantly being added to the service so there’s always a reason to come back.

Video: Exclusive: ‘Your Highness’ Trailer (Mature Audiences)

Your Highness looks gaggingly funny. Sure, its raunchy and over the top, but I like it.

The movie isn’t about tales of chivalry or legends of brave, handsome knights, who rescue fair damsels, slay dragons and conquer evil. No, it’s a raunchy story full of laughs about a hero who is a good-for-nothing younger brother trying just to stay out of the way of those dragons, evil and trouble in general.

Danny McBride and James Franco team up for an epic comedy adventure set in a fantastical world—Your Highness. As two princes on a daring mission to save their land, they must rescue the heir apparent’s fiancee before their kingdom is destroyed. Together Thadeous (McBride) his older brother Fabious (Franco) embark upon a valiant journey to save the Kingdom.

Please note that you have to be old enough to watch the restricted trailer, so please “tell the truth and shame the devil.”

Enjoy the wonderful song sung by a bird:

Rio Angry Bird

Rio opens nationwide on April 15, 2011.

This film clip is funny, and now I am interested in the movie and want to see it. From the makers of the hit Ice Age series, Rio is a comedy-adventure, in 3D.

Blu is a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly, living a comfortable life with his owner and best friend Linda in the small town of Moose Lake, Minnesota. Blu and Linda think he’s the last of his kind, but when they learn about another Macaw who lives in Rio de Janeiro, they head to the faraway and exotic land to find Jewel, Blu’s female counterpart.

Not long after they arrive, Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by a group of bungling animal smugglers. With the help of street smart Jewel, and a group of wise-cracking and smooth-talking city birds, Blu escapes.

I was checking out one of the hot racing cars from Cars 2 when I noticed “Learn more about Nomanisan Island” to the right on Disney-Pixar YouTube page.

So, as a curious blogger I clicked on the video and look at what I found, unbeknownst to me! I showed the reel to my daughter and she giggled and laughed. She also pointed out to me that the narrator in this YouTube clip is the same voice as the computer voice on the plane in The Incredibles, “Would you like more cocktail sauce?”

Adventure awaits you and your entire family at Hero Headquarters on Nomanisan Island! Once the secret base of notorious super villain Syndrome, Nomanisan Island has a new look thanks to the Vanquished Villains Redevelopment Fund!

Yes, it is a commercial for The Incredibles, available for the first time, on Four-Disc Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack with digital copy.

With all this rain we have been having in northern California, I am ready for a Holi Ceremony to bring on the spring! I want to throw colorful power and celebrate with a multi-colored face. Featuring The Holi Scene from the film, the cast describes their experience participating in the Hindu festival which celebrates the beginning of Spring.

The romantic-comedy is directed by Nayan Padrai with a young and festive cast that includes Rahul Rai, Freishia Bomanbehram and Stefanie Estes.

In When Harry Tries to Marry we discover a cross-cultural romantic comedy about a young Indian-born bachelor who lives in New York City. Harry’s handsome and charming, but he’s cynical about love. He’s never really gotten over his parents’ divorce — they were a modern Indian couple who married for love and it didn’t last.

So to improve his odds of living “happily ever after,” Harry decides to have an arranged marriage, and asks his uncle back home in India to assist him in arranging the introduction to an appropriate Indian woman. To the dismay of his parents and friends, Harry finds the perfect girl and embarks on a long-distance courtship with an unexpected friendship with Theresa, a fun and sexy American student.

The movie opens April 22, 2011.

Anyone else like cake?  That’s not exactly a difficult question, is it? Most people like cake, and that’s why today’s review is exciting. The folks out at TLC sent over a copy of Cake Boss: Season 3 for us to review, and it will be a wonderful mix of cake, comedy, and even a little drama.

Cake Boss: Season 3 will take us to Carlo’s Bakery, currently the purview of one Buddy Valastro and his rather extensive family, along with some extra employees, of course, some of which come and go throughout the season. And the crew out at Carlo’s Bakery will make some impressively involved pastries. But this won’t just be a cake experience; you’ll get to see how these cakes are assembled from start to finish, as well as some background information and the like. And then we’ll have family drama in there, as well as some good old fashioned comedy.

Cake Boss: Season 3 is a surprisingly rich and varied experience–sure, at the end of the day, it’s basically a lot of footage of cakes getting made–but despite the singular nature of what’s going on here, there are so many variations on the concept that it’s actually a big surprise to see what’s going to happen next. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen a cake with plumbing before. Thanks to Cake Boss: Season 3, I will see just that.

And I said once already there will be a lot of laughs here. But even I didn’t think there would be quite so many. Sure, I had a couple good laughs in the beginning, but it kept right on going, and by the end of it all, I had laughed myself crazy.

This is almost a sitcom more than it is a documentary, but when you get this many laughs into a show about cake, and then top it off by making it an educational experience (yes, you will learn–they have a couple segments worth of cake history, how cake used to be done, what kinds of cakes were big back when, and so on), well, you’ve got something here of the kind of thing you don’t normally see on television. And the kind of thing that will be well worth your time to check out.

The Screenhead Ten Scale gives Cake Boss: Season 3 a nine out of ten. Though it’s somewhat repetitive in nature–it’s all about cake, after all–they will find so many different ways to present the same thing that it seldom gets old. And that makes Cake Boss something downright delicious to watch from TLC.

When Fantasy Meets Reality…is how Anchor Bay Films is promoting the new official trailer and Facebook application for Kim Cattrall’s upcoming comedy, Meet Monica Velour.

Facebook Application is now live. You can find out more about the PORN STAR NAME GENERATOR feature. Just enter your first and last name and reveal your inner porn star name with a detailed write up of your career. If you dare, you can share it with your friends.

The comedy is written and directed by Keith Bearden. The movie also stars Dustin Ingram, which I have heard wonderful things about his performance for a reader who left a post on my first blog about this movie.

The story is about an awkward teenager Tobe (Ingram) sets off on a road trip to meet Monica Velour (Cattrall), his favorite ’80s porn star, at a rare live appearance hundreds of miles away.

Instead of the glamorous sexpot portrayed on film, he finds a 49-year-old single mom living in a trailer in rural Indiana, performing at seedy strip clubs to make ends meet. A starry-eyed Tobe, still captivated by his crush, befriends Monica, further complicating her difficult life.

The movie opens in theaters on April 8, 2011.

The comedy-adventure Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides full-length trailer (a.k.a. #2 trailer) is on the Internet. I like how Disney jumps around during the first part of the trailer, and the second half shows us more of the story. The story seems doable to me. Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane will add some credibility and talent to the third installment of the solid franchise. The other cast members include Johnny Depp, Kevin R. McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin and Geoffrey Rush.

Directed by Rob Marshall the movie will be presented in Disney Digital 3D. Depp returns to his colorful role of Captain Jack Sparrow while crossing paths with the enigmatic Angelica (Cruz), he’s not sure if it’s love—or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.

When she forces him aboard the “Queen Anne’s Revenge,” the ship of the legendary pirate Blackbeard (McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he shares a mysterious past.

In this trailer, it seems the mermaids or a particular mermaid plays a key part in the story. I wonder if we will see more details about the mermaids before the movie’s release May 20, 2011.

I am not quite sure how to take Hop as a movie or as a story. E.B. is the teenage son of the Easter Bunny, and on the eve of taking over the family business, he leaves for Hollywood in pursuit of his dream of becoming a drummer. Once there, he encounters Fred, an unemployed slacker with his own lofty goals. Feigning injury, E.B. persuades Fred to take him in, and Fred finds himself living with the world’s worst house guest.

Back on Easter Island, E.B.’s former home, a power-hungry chick that has lived in the shadows for far too long has been plotting a coup to take over one of the biggest jobs in the world. You guessed it: delivering Easter eggs. Now that E.B.’s gone, he’s got his chance. As E.B. discovers who he really wants to be and who he’s meant to become, everything will lead him and Fred in an epic showdown to try and save Easter.

Hop includes live actors as well as voice actors: Russell Brand, James Marsden, Kaley Cuoco and Hank Azaria.

Screenhead held a giveaway to promote the Sony Pictures Home Entertainment film, A Woman, a Gun and a Noodle Shop from the director of House of Flying Daggers and Hero. We have our winner! Kyl Neusc, who says the movie looks good!

A Woman, a Gun and a Noodle Shop is available wherever DVDs are sold or rented.

Zhang Yimou directs a story about an almost perfect plan: the affair will come to a cruel but satisfying end when a Chinese noodle shop owner plots to execute his unfaithful wife and her lover. But the lover has a lethal plan of his own in this violent tale of adultery and revenge based on the Coen Brother’s debut classic Blood Simple.
