Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor, Leslie Mann and Rodrigo Santoro star in I Love You Phillip Morris. The flamboyant comedy is written and directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, who co-wrote Bad Santa

The movie is based on the book by Steve McVicker, which is an unlikely true story of an outlandish conman, who journeys from small-town businessman to wacky white-collar criminal. He over and over again finds himself in trouble with the law and on the run, skillfully escaping from the Texas prison system on four separate occasions – all in the name of love for Phillip Morris

The movie opens as a limited release on December 3, 2010 in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The first trailer for Paul is a teaser that jumps around.  The teaser doesn’t show much of Jason Bateman and Sigourney Weaver.  I sure would like to see more of them

Paul is a science fiction comedy with Seth Rogen as the voice actor for the CGI alien.  The movie also stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as the main characters who stumble onto an alien, who needs their help.

I Love You Phillip Morris is finally coming to the movie theaters this December as a limited release. The final poster is hilarious.  I have heard wonderful things about this movie from folks who have seen the movie at festivals.  That was two years ago.

The movie has been having a rough time with release issues and delays caused by studio changes and so forth.  The movie stars Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor as gay lovers in a comedic way. This is no joke.  I have posted a trailer or two of the movie and it looks outrageously funny. It will be interesting to see Carrey and McGregor play off each other because their acting styles are so different.
