Dwayne Johnson is negotiating with MGM to star in Hercules to be directed by Brett Ratner.

Written by Ryan Condol and adapted from Steve Moore’s graphic novel “Hercules: The Thracian War”, it may prove to be Johnson’s best superhero yet.

Johnson can be seen on the silver screen in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and can be seen in the upcoming action-film G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He is also preparing for his role in Michael Bay’s Pain and Gain.

You can win this awesome looking poster that says a lot about the movie Detachment, starring Adrien Brody, Marcia Gay Harden, Christina Hendricks, Bryan Cranston, William Petersen, Tim Blake Nelson, Betty Kaye, Sami Gayle, Lucy Liu, Blythe Danner and James Caan.

Director Tony Kaye’s (American History X) long-awaited film follows Henry Barthes (Brody), a substitute teacher who conveniently avoids any emotional connections by never staying anywhere long enough to form a bond with either his students or colleagues. A lost soul grappling with a troubled past, Henry finds himself at a public schoolwhere an apathetic student body has created a frustrated, burned-out administration. Inadvertently becoming a role model to his students, while also bonding with a runaway teen who is just as lost as he is, Henry finds that he’s not alone in a life and death struggle to find beauty in a seemingly vicious and loveless world.

Kaye has molded a contemporary vision of people who become increasingly distant from others while still feeling the need to connect.

This poster would look really great on somebody’s dorm room wall. Don’t you think?

To enter the giveaway for the poster, post your name and tell us which Brody film you like the best. We will pick the winner March 3, 2012.

Screenhead’s latest giveaway for the upcoming film One For The Money starring Katherine Heigl is strictly fashionable and we have our two winners: Laura Emerson and Chadro!  Both winners tweeted their favorite Stephanie Plum book and enter to win and won!

Each prize package consists of lipstick pen / notepad set and a tote bag.

One for the Money opened on January 27th and did fairly well at the box office; it is still in the top ten.

A proud, born-and-bred Jersey girl, Stephanie Plum’s got plenty of attitude, even if she’s been out of work for the last six months and just lost her car to a debt collector.

Now she is desperate for some fast cash. Stephanie turns to her last resort: convincing her sleazy cousin to give her a job at his bail bonding company…as a recovery agent. True, she doesn’t even own a pair of handcuffs and her weapon of choice is pepper spray, but that doesn’t stop Stephanie from taking on Vinny’s biggest bail-jumper: former vice cop and murder suspect Joe Morelli – yup, the same sexy, irresistible Joe Morelli who seduced and dumped her back in high school.

Nabbing Morelli would be satisfying payback – and a hefty payday – but as Stephanie learns the ins and outs of becoming a recovery agent from Ranger, a hunky colleague who’s the best in the business, she also realizes the case against Morelli isn’t airtight. Add to the mix her meddling family, a potentially homicidal boxer, witnesses who keep dying and the problem of all those flying sparks when she finds Morelli himself…well, suddenly Stephanie’s new job isn’t nearly as easy as she thought.

The trailer is funny. I sure hope the movie is too.

Directed by David Wain (Role Models) and written by Ken Marino and David Wain, Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston star in Wanderlust, a raucous comedy from producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up) about a couple blow off the pressures of the big city and join a freewheeling community where the only rule is to be yourself.

George (Rudd) and Linda (Aniston) are an overextended, stressed out Manhattan couple.  After George is downsized out of his job, they find themselves with only one option: to move in with George’s awful brother in Atlanta.

On the way there, George and Linda stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things.   Money?  It can’t buy happiness.  Careers?  Who needs them?  Clothes?  Only if you want them.

The movie opens February 24,  2012.

“Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” star Benjamin Walker is close to signing a deal with HBO to star in Muhammad Ali telepic about the boxing legend’s legal fight with the Supreme Court. The story for “Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight” is Ali’s battle with the Supreme Court regarding Muslim beliefs as a conscientious objector of the Vietnam War. Ali was convicted by a Houston court in 1967 and spent three years exiled from the boxing ring while his legal case went through the legal process of the Supreme Court.

Directed by Stephen Frears the film will use actual footage of Ali and not cast an actor to play him. Variety reports that several crucial details need to be hammered out before Walker signs on the dotted line. If all goes as planned, he would play Kevin Kennedy, a Supreme Court clerk who supported the issue, wrote the briefs and played an important part of approving Ali’s status as a conscientious objector.

One of my favorite actors, Christopher Plummer signed on to play Supreme Court judge John Marshall Harlan. Frank Langella has also joined up and will play Chief Justice Warren Burger.
