Clive Owen and Jason Statham are gearing up for an action-thriller The Killer Elite with Irish director Gary McKendry. Shooting will start next month in Australia.
The story is based on the novel “The Feather Men” by Ranulph Fiennes that follows a group of former British special forces members being hunted by a team of assassins led by Statham’s character, a former Navy Seal.
Owen will take on the role of a senior field operative and member of a clandestine group protecting former Special Forces soldiers and their families.
Production starts in Melbourne on May 13 and continues through July, and then filming continues in Wales at the end of July.
The International comes out in February starring top-rated actors like Clive Owens, Naomi Watts and more. The stunts in this trailer alone knows we are in for a treat come February.
It looks like negotiations are moving forward for a sequel to Spike Lee’s Inside Man. Universal has placed Terry George in the writer’s seat with Lee set to come back and direct.
Currently called Inside Man 2, the characters played by Clive Owens, bank robber, and Denzel Washington, negotiator, remain in the sequel. However, Lee wants the script to be high-dynamic. Even more than the original.
Lee thought the original script was good but he wants it to be even better with a new high-tension situation.
