You can win this awesome looking poster that says a lot about the movie Detachment, starring Adrien Brody, Marcia Gay Harden, Christina Hendricks, Bryan Cranston, William Petersen, Tim Blake Nelson, Betty Kaye, Sami Gayle, Lucy Liu, Blythe Danner and James Caan.

Director Tony Kaye’s (American History X) long-awaited film follows Henry Barthes (Brody), a substitute teacher who conveniently avoids any emotional connections by never staying anywhere long enough to form a bond with either his students or colleagues. A lost soul grappling with a troubled past, Henry finds himself at a public schoolwhere an apathetic student body has created a frustrated, burned-out administration. Inadvertently becoming a role model to his students, while also bonding with a runaway teen who is just as lost as he is, Henry finds that he’s not alone in a life and death struggle to find beauty in a seemingly vicious and loveless world.

Kaye has molded a contemporary vision of people who become increasingly distant from others while still feeling the need to connect.

This poster would look really great on somebody’s dorm room wall. Don’t you think?

To enter the giveaway for the poster, post your name and tell us which Brody film you like the best. We will pick the winner March 3, 2012.

Directed by David Wain (Role Models) and written by Ken Marino and David Wain, Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston star in Wanderlust, a raucous comedy from producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up) about a couple blow off the pressures of the big city and join a freewheeling community where the only rule is to be yourself.

George (Rudd) and Linda (Aniston) are an overextended, stressed out Manhattan couple.  After George is downsized out of his job, they find themselves with only one option: to move in with George’s awful brother in Atlanta.

On the way there, George and Linda stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things.   Money?  It can’t buy happiness.  Careers?  Who needs them?  Clothes?  Only if you want them.

The movie opens February 24,  2012.

I feel jumpy inside because I am sharing the official poster for the upcoming gritty thriller The Raven – opens in theaters April 27, 2012. I love the color of the red-winged raven behind Cusack who is carrying a gun.

See John Cusack in his portrayal of Edgar Allan Poe, as he joins forces with a young Baltimore detective (Luke Evans) to hunt down a mad serial killer who’s using Poe’s own works as the basis in a string of brutal murders. Directed by James McTeigue , the film also stars Alice Eve, Brendan Gleeson and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

We are looking down a barrel of excitement with the new official poster from Jason Statham’s Safe. From producer Lawrence Bender of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill comes another thriller about an ex-operative’s (Statham) struggle to protect an adolescent girl and the vital safe combination she possesses. She is just too cute for words. Safe opens in movie theaters April 27, 2012.

Spurlock looks pretty darn good without his shirt on. I wonder if he is still having lunch at McDonald’s.

The documentary is directed by Morgan Spurlock, who explores the world of product placement, marketing and advertising in POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, a film that was fully financed through product placement from various brands, all of which are integrated transparently into the film.

While using brands in film promotion is not new for Hollywood, it certainly is new territory for the documentary format. Spurlock exploits the phenomenon to new heights, with everything from branded pizza boxes and in-flight film promotions to branded-everything in-film.

I’d like to see this movie because the movie unmasks the marketing process to bring audiences behind closed doors directly into the pitch meetings and marketing presentations which ultimately inform our everyday entertainment decisions. Sponsors were provided with brand category exclusivity. The brands that agreed to sponsor the film placed Spurlock front and center in their brand campaigns and advertisements, both on and off-line. Partners have the unique right to promote themselves in association with Spurlock and the film as “The Greatest.” The agreements also stipulate that Spurlock maintains creative control of the film’s content and final edit.

The movie arrives in movie theaters April 22, 2011.

I really like this poster, but it doesn’t say much to me, with the splattering mud and Captain America’s solemn stance.

My disconnection with the poster is because I am not a comic book geek. This poster is made for comic book geeks who remember him as a national hero. At first he was a sick man unable to serve his country in WWII; nevertheless, through super science he became the zenith of male physical excellence.

The poster is also patriotic and in times like today, it’s good to see a superhero who loves the United States. I can’t wait to see the movie.

Focus Features released the brand new poster for their upcoming film Hanna. The poster looks awesome with Hanna’s silver-blue eyes dominating the poster as she aims her arrow.

The movie is directed by award-winner Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice), who creates a boldly original suspense thriller, starring Academy Award nominee Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones, Atonement) in the title role.

Raised by her father, an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland, Hanna’s upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one when she sent into the world by her father on a mission.

Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own. As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.

Hanna also stars Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, Olivia Williams and Jason Flemyng.

The movie opens in theaters April 8, 2011.

The international poster for Cowboys & Aliens is too dark.  I sense the studio wants the character to be a mystery, but we saw the light shine on him in the trailer and production stills.

Cowboys & Aliens is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man movies) and stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde and Sam Rockwell. This poster is cool and interesting as well as refreshing to see Craig in a superhero role. I just hope the story is as good as the book.

I like the jacket this guy is wearing, and his hands are smoking.

I am Number Four poster from the movie produced by Michael Bay and directed by D.J. Caruso is based on a book by Pittacus Lore and adapted for the screen by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Marti Noxon.

The film is based on Lore’s six-book science fiction series that follows a group of nine earthbound alien teens who escape their planet just before it was destroyed by hostile species. While they try to assimilate to the new environment, the title character discovers that he is being hunted by the forces that blew up his planet.

Not much more has been released about the movie, but I am sure a trailer will follow shortly.

The poster shows the cowboy in a silhouette, which makes a pretty cool effect. He is a stranger with no memory of his past and stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist.

The desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known.

Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he`s been, he realizes he holds a secret that could give the town a fighting chance against the alien force.
